Barbecued Tuna Burgers
To serve – 4
Preparation time – 15 minutes = 2 hours refrigeration
Cooking time – 10 minutes
Can easily be made into tuna meatballs, and fry until browned and then bake in a moderate oven for 5 minutes.

700g fresh tuna, finely chopped 3 spring onions, finely chopped 1 tbsp mirin 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tbsp lime juice
- Place the tuna, spring onion, mirin, soy sauce and lime juice in a bowl and mix together. Divide into four portions and shape into patties. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours for the flavours to mingle.
- Cook the patties on a preheated chargrill pan or barbecue grill or flatplate for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Serve hot or cold with lime wedges, your favourite relish and salad leaves.
