Cod with Satay Sauce

The cod can be replaced with any white fish that is available, try pollack, hake or coley.


4 portions cod fillet 4 tbsp crunchy peanut butter 2 tbsp runny honey 3 tbsp light soy sauce 1 lime juiced ½ tsp Chinese 5-spice powder Boiled rice to serve


  1. Preheat the oven to 190’C/170’C Fan/375’F/Gas 5.
  2. Put the cod in a greased baking dish.
  3. Mix together the peanut butter, soy sauce, honey, lime juice and 5-spice powder, then pour it over the cod.
  4. Bake the cod for 15 minutes or until just cooked in the centre, then serve with the rice and the sauce from the dish spooned over.
