Crab Cocktail with Baby Avocados

A real taste of summer.


4 tbsps mayonnaise 2 tbsps Greek yoghurt 3 tbsps lime juice ½ - 1 tsp wasabi paste 2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander 200 g/7 oz fresh white crab meat 4 ripe baby avocados Salt and pepper Ready-prepared watercress, to garnish


  1. Mix together the mayonnaise and yoghurt, then stir in 1 tbsp of the lime juice and the wasabi paste, to taste. Add the coriander and crab meat, season to taste and toss to mix well.
  2. Cut the avocados in half lengthways and remove the stones, then brush with the remaining lime juice. Place 2 halves on each serving plate. If the avocados do not keep upright, take a small slice from the bottom so that they remain stable on the plate.
  3. Fill the avocados with the crab mixture and garnish with watercress.
  4. Serve immediately
