Ice Cream with Lemon Curd Sauce

Serves 4

Cooking time – 10 minutes

With a good ice-cream or sorbet in the freezer, you cannot fail to make an impression with this sauce.


500 ml/ 18 fl oz Vanilla Ice Cream Pulp of 1 or 2 passion fruits 3 tbsps lemon curd 3 tbsps single cream


  1. Remove the ice cream from the freezer and allow to soften slightly then stir in the pulp of the passion fruits and return to the freezer.
  2. In a small saucepan, warm through the lemon curd with the single cream, stirring all the time. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
  3. Scoop the ice cream into 4 serving dishes and pour over the sauce.
