Ice Cream with Lemon Curd Sauce
Cooking time – 10 minutes
With a good ice-cream or sorbet in the freezer, you cannot fail to make an impression with this sauce.
500 ml/ 18 fl oz Vanilla Ice Cream Pulp of 1 or 2 passion fruits 3 tbsps lemon curd 3 tbsps single cream
- Remove the ice cream from the freezer and allow to soften slightly then stir in the pulp of the passion fruits and return to the freezer.
- In a small saucepan, warm through the lemon curd with the single cream, stirring all the time. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
- Scoop the ice cream into 4 serving dishes and pour over the sauce.
